Polo Ireland POLO IRELAND MEMBERSHIP
- All individual playing members join Polo Ireland
- Everyone must be a member of a club and approved by a nominated club
- All clubs will be affiliated to Polo Ireland
- Private grounds may also be affiliated
Current rates:
- Playing member - EUR 50
- Under 18 Playing member - EUR 25
- Supporting member - EUR 20
FUNDING
- Horse Sport Ireland have funds available for polo
- These funds can be applied for through Polo Ireland
- Funds will be shared in agreement to the committee between:
- Ground improvements
- Coaching (Irish Polo Foundation)
- International Teams
- Promotional events
PLANS
- Simple website:
- Link to allow players to pay their membership
- List of all players and their handicaps, club etc
- List of clubs and contacts
- List of coaches in Ireland and contact numbers
- Committee:
- Made up of 6 active members (suggested 4 players, 2 non players?)
- 1 part time secretary to keep website up to date, emails, look into funding etc
